Hi everyone.

I'm a new member. I'm really fustrated of all the comercials of acne
cure, that really do not work and I really do not want to keep waisting
money.

I would like to hear from people who actually tried the product and
see if there is any results. It just might be me that nothing works but
i never give up and I know there has to be something out there that
will work on my acne problem.

I'm in my 30's always had acne problem, but lately it's been like i'm
back at my teenage years. I have tried and currently using: minocycline,
topical clindamycin solution, 2.5% benzoyl peroxide, 3.5% benzoyl peroxide, 10% b.P. Neutrogena acne patch that has 2% b.P. And
my daily cleanser that has 2% glycolic and 2% salcylic acids
plus a glysal toner. I also tried clearactive solution.

I gradually started them firts with 2% and then went all the way up to
10% all directed by my doctor. I also had photodynamic therapy..They
put a solution on my face and put me under a lamp for 5 minutes and
that did not work. I also had one week of lazer treatment and
injections to regulate my hormones.

My doctor say's I should wait till I reach menapause...I want to enjoy
my age now. Not when I get older.

Anyone has any suggestions?

Thanks
alex

I always thought the sun helped. (course its also bad for your skin, but what do ya do?). My mom used to take tetracycline pills and they worked great. I use mary kay products, but I have never had that bad of acne. Good luck

another endorsement for tetrycycline. I used it back in high school and it all but cured my acne for a few years. Tragically, the acne came back a few months ago and i'm once again back on the prescription drug, when proactive didn't seem to work too well.

In my experience, a lot of the tv infomercials that peddle their products as the next best thing, usually have mild to little efficacy, if that. Sounds like you have used everything available out there with no sucess, so i'd suggest going to see a dermatologist and get on tetrycycline to see how it works. Keep optimistic, there usually is something that will work for you.

Good luck
