I got this from my doc. Hope it helps. You know you could go to the pregnancy forum too.

Cold remedies:

always check over-the-counter cold medications for alcohol, sugar, caffeine, or aspirin. All medications should be taken as directed and for no longer than 7 days. If symptoms persist, call the office.

- sudafed, sudafed plus tablets, liquid sudafed, sudafed 12 hour
- benadryl tablet, capsules, liquid
- benadryl plus
- chlor-trimeton, chlor-trimeton la
- allerest
- allergy relief medicine (arm)
- comtrex
- robitussin dm
- sine-off (without aspirin)
- sinutab, extra strength, maximum strength (not sinutab allergy)
- triaminic, triaminic cold, nite lite, syrup, pm, 12 hour
- tylenol sinus
- actifed
- throat lozenges

also from pattyv - honey for a sore throat and helps loosen congestion, gargle w/salt water for a sore throat, and peppermint tea for congesion.

Peppermint tea is also great for a queasy tummy!!!
