Q: Shaving Down There ????

Do women like shaving themselves "down there"?
I'm old fashion and like the feeling / looks of the hairy "part". When shaved, they look toooo young and bare.
My lady friend told me never shave there, becauase she loves the feeling of hair there.

I agree. I guess I am old fashioned. I have heard that a shaved woman does resemble a little girl. Whatever you and your partner like though, right? I do think that women should be trimmed and neat though.

from the 50's I always thought this was natural and liked it. When a girl allowed me to put my hand on her private (hairy) part, it turned me on. Of course, this was before bikinis of today and had to shave the residual.

Personally, I love the site of my lady's bushy part and I like it on my face and legs, stomch, chest and she has expressed the same to me..

To me it's sexy.

Some women really prefer to shave, and some would never do it.
Some men really like it shaved, and some like it natural.

The big hope is that those who like it shaved find each other, and those who like it natural find each other!

I agree poo. I don't shave for sexual reasons. I personally hate hair. I hate pubic hair most, I hate any kind of body hair and unless it is really short and fits the man I hate facial hair. So, for me, I shave and I expect the same from my partner. But, others, like you granps, like hair. It just depends. I hate hair down there on anyone!

I agree....I hate hair period. The only hair I can stand is on my head, so hair down there on me is definitely out of the question. I don't do it for sexual reasons either. I also find its easier on my period, and in the summer, it makes me feel much more confident to be wearing a bikini.

I think it just depends on what you like. It is just a personal pref. I don't like period hair either that is nasty! And when you make it all nice and neat not only does it look better it feels better as well.

I would have laser on all my hair, except for my lashes, brows and head!!I like the look and feel of a clean shave!!!I do not have the patience to wait for the hair to grow out when I wax,i love the feel for the first two weeks, but when the hair starts to grow back,i get the urge to take it off!!!I do not groom myself for anyone but me.If my husband did not like me being nearly hairless, that would be his problem.I did date a guy who thought the bushy look was sexy.I told him to date an orangutan.I think he married her Laughing .If anyone prefers the natural state of hair-good for you.If I did not trim the hedges,i would resemble a yeti!!!Just my opinion.Patty

If I go more than a week without doing it, I feel way too dirty, especially around that time of the month.

If you really want to shave (assuming you are a girl) then the easiest way is to sit on the side of the tub. It will take some time (especially if it's long), but go with the grain (shave down instead of up, it helps prevent razor burn). I wouldn't suggest a disposable razor either, they tend to cut you more than not. Invest in a nice 3-4 blade razor. Be careful and take your time!

I agree it is a life long commitment. After you do it once it's much harder to stop it grows back even thicker. I personally prefer nothing down there. I feel much cleaner that way. My current boyfriend likes it both ways. He has been begging me to let it grow out just once... because hes never seen me with it I just can do it though.

Waxing is a better way to rid yourself of excess pubic hair, A nice clean trim and wax should get rid of that nasty little bulge in front?? SOme men like the hair some don't...ying and yang??

Shaving is sooooo 1970's and can cause you unnescesary irritation, and can leave you with a razor burn and bumps. Not to mention that you will have extremely uncomfortable stubble in a couple of days, which will be ten times more irritating.

As for the look of a little girl? Don't get your pooh-nah-nee completely bald. Trim your hair and get a strip, or a triangle shape, wax the rest, nothing has to be completely bald. Its up to you and how comfortable you are with your self, and how comfortable you are in having someone waxing your privates. BUT!! they are professionals..other wise why do it right??

Home waxing unless your absolutly 100% a pro and you've found the right kit, go for it...might take a couple tries...like I said all in prefrence. I'd much rather be waxing than scratching stubble for 3 or 4 days.

Later eh..Smile

I personally prefer to just shave with a single razored blade. Its so much easier and you have less chances of cutting yourself. My boyfriend especially loves it when he fingers me cus then he can just put his hands up my skirt nd go for it!!! I love it because i not only feel sexy but when i take off my clothes i look sooo freakin hot!!!

Never understood the "hair is dirty/gross" thing.

15 years ago, I knew a LOT of women, and NONE of them shaved. These SAME WOMEN now claim pubes are gross...it doesn't jive to me.
