I used use the patch for birth control then about 1 1/2 months ago I switched to ortho tricyclin low and ive been getting my period every week and a half. So that means that I only get through the white pills and my period comes so what sould I do should I continue going through the pack or what I have been doing once I get my period throw it out and then start a new one after my period is over. Help please

Keep taking your pills like you normally would. I would guess that you're having some serious breakthrough bleeding, but it happens. Your body needs to adjust to the new, lower levels of hormones, and apparently 1 1/2 months isn't enough for you. You can either keep taking them and wait for things to normalize/regulate or you can go back to your doctor, tell them what's up, and see if they can switch you to a different brand.

Thanks for the reply I never even thought that it could be breakthrough bleeding because ive never had this with my other birth control
