Well, marija,

here are some kind words: you are not alone!

You have a condition, a disease, like some of us here -- tmj -- and the bulk of the population of any country might not even know what tmj actually is, much less what it feels like.

If you don't mind me saying, it's probably better for you, and for the rest of us here, if you don't ask people to respond to you in an exclusive way such as a post to your email address. By that I mean, someone could write to you and share a very potent way of relieving tmj pain, and the rest of us here would not be privy to that information.

There's nothing wrong about private emails, of course. What would be lacking would be the amount of information shared. ... Tmj has affected your life, obviously, in a very profound way, as it has mine. To give myself the best chance of feeling less pain, I plan to read every tmj post in this whole forum, and if there's anything worth adding, i'll add it here in this forum.

Don't continue to feel despondent and alone. Knowing that you are not alone here in this forum, you may feel a little or a lot less despondent. You certainly will not feel worse if you participate here, as none of us want to see the pain in our jaws continue, just as probably none of us here consider that we've considered all that needs to be considered about this most horrible disease.

Stay with us, marija, and help your fellows to find out what is behind that which pains us so very much.

Steve
