For those asking ip's are the address of your computer.
Think like this if you live in a big house with say 10 other people, you all have the same address, so every computer in that house has the same ip (that goes through the same connection - ie the same gateway or front door)
but if you all lived in an appartment block you would all have a different number at the same address, so each computer would have a different address.
Example 10 ppl 1 house all have the same - #123 new street
10 ppl in app block - #1 new court appts, #2 new court appts, #3 new court appts
and so on
my partner and I have 4 computers including laptop, they all have the same ip out there in the big wide world. We each have our own ip on our internal mini network but the ip you see is that or our gateway so they are all the same.
Hope you all understand what I have tried to say
