I am bulimic. Two months ago I told a
friend about my problem. At this point
she is really pressuring me to get help.
I don't really disagree with her, the
problem is the thought of therapy
absolutely freaks me out and she doesn't
understand that at all. Can anyone tell
me what it is like to see a therapist?
And maybe what it is like to talk about
your eating disorder? I just feel like I
have such a hard time talking about it to
one person I really trust how could I ever
talk to a stranger?

I personally don't have any experience
talking to any therepists but I have a
friend who has been seeing one for quite a
long time now. She said that at first it
was really weird and awkward, but after a
while she said it was great because she
could go in and get everything off her
chest and come out feeling great. She
said that it is really important to make
sure you find someone that you can feel
comfortable around. You should definitly
talk to a therepist and maybe see a docter
to help you with your bulimia.
