Right Hand Has Been Going Numb?

Usually numbness is caused by nerves instead of lack of blood flow. It could be possible getting a tattoo somehow damaged a nerve that goes to your hand. If it continues to be bothersome i'd suggest going to the doctor just to make sure that everything is ok. Good luck

What about carpel tunnel or however you spell it. I have had other odd symptoms only in my right hand. Sometimes I will get spasms and my fingers will move and shake on there own. Its very odd. I am a computer and video game nut so I am doing alot of repetition.

I don't know much about carpel tunnel since i've never had it. I suppose it could be a possibility but I really don't know. Maybe its a combination of getting a tattoo, streneous workout and video game addiction. To me, it sounds like something is up with a nerve in your arm or hand. Your symptoms are enough that if they were happening to me I would have made a doctors appointment by now. I think it might be time for you to get a professional opinion. The tattoo could be a big factor dependent on the placement. I have carpal tunnel in both of my hands. The nerve that is affected is the median nerve, and is located in the inner area of the wrist closest to your thumb, but it only causes numbness and tingling in the thumb, index and middle finger. You can also have sharp shooting pain beginning in the middle of your hand and going downward into your forearm. If you have numbness in your pinkie and ring finger it could also be gyon tunnel which affects the ulnar nerve,located also in your wrist but closest to your pinkie, and you can have pain all the way up to your inner elbow because the nerve extends to your elbow. I also have this and it is extremely painful. Definitely talk to a doctor before the damage is too great and irreversible.
