Right Hand Has Been Going Numb? Posted: 10-21-03 13:14pm
This is so weird but as of the last couple
of days my right hand has been going numb
alot. Usually when I wake in the
morning. So I have thought I might have
slept on it or something like that. Dont
know if this has something to do with it
but, just had a tatoo on my right forearm
and I have been doing vigorous curls with
prolly 15ib weights for the last 2 months.
I have noticed and increase in muscle
but it seems like my hand goes numb alot.
While playing on the computer or playing
a video game. Could a muscle be cutting
off circulation to my hand? Like
blocking a vein or am I just messed up?

Usually numbness is caused by nerves
instead of lack of blood flow. It could
be possible getting a tattoo somehow
damaged a nerve that goes to your hand.
If it continues to be bothersome i'd
suggest going to the doctor just to make
sure that everything is ok. Good luck

What about carpel tunnel or however you
spell it. I have had other odd symptoms
only in my right hand. Sometimes I will
get spasms and my fingers will move and
shake on there own. Its very odd. I am
a computer and video game nut so I am
doing alot of repetition.

I don't know much about carpel tunnel
since i've never had it. I suppose it
could be a possibility but I really don't
know. Maybe its a combination of getting
a tattoo, streneous workout and video game
addiction. To me, it sounds like
something is up with a nerve in your arm
or hand. Your symptoms are enough that
if they were happening to me I would have
made a doctors appointment by now. I
think it might be time for you to get a
professional opinion. You definitely
have an interesting story
