Yeah, I have broth, but doesn't it make it's own?

I have to wait anyway...I have a whole chicken, but it is frozen....

It will make a broth, but it isn't too flavorful. I usually use some canned broth or bouillon. But, that doesn't really matter, because your family needs it. I usually make it when we aren't sick, and put in the freezer for when we need it. You don't have to wait until it's completely defrosted. Your husband can cut it up, and it will cook fine if it's a little frozen still.

I really want chicken and noodles, so I have been soaking the chicken in warm water and I went and got some noodles and now I am boiling the whole chicken (would rather mess with it when it is cooked, just to make sure, famil.Y is sick enough as it is) in water and chicken broth with salt, pepper, garlic and onions.

Then I will cut up the chicken and everything

yeah I always pull my chicken straight from the freezer and boil it for my chicken soft tacos too, but it is breast halves, so doesn't take long at all... I never put anything in the fride for tomorrow because we always change out mind or something comes up and I don't want it to get forgotten about and go bad...
