Circumcision Dillema. Please Help Me! Doc Wants to Cut Me Posted: 12-03-04 15:25pm
I am 25 years old, uncircumcised and I had
a small problem about 6 months ago. After
a night of hard sex with my girlfriend we
noticed some blood in my penis. I looked
closely and there was a very small cut in
my penis just below the head on the side
you look at it (top side). I had a
similar problem 5 years ago but it was a
very normal one as the doctor had just to
cut the small flesh that keeps the
foreskin from pulling it down. (most
uncircumcised men have this small
operation sometime in thei life). I didnt
pay much attention as I thought that the
wound would heal by itself but after weeks
it has become much worse and went to a
doctor who gave me some creams and told me
to stop having sex for a month..
Anyway to sum up I went to 5 doctors and
gave me all sorts of creams to heal but
they didnt work. That wound is growing
everytime I have sex and althought it is
not painful, I dont like bleeding there.
The last doctor I went told me the only
solution is circumcision!! I know that
most people are circumcised nowadays but I
also know that very few had a circumcision
when they were adults. I ve read that you
lose about half of sensitivity and your
sexual intercourse lasts much longer
(which could be good.. Although I am
already lasting 20mins average). What
frightens me worse is these articles which
clearly say that circumcision is much
worse in everything
please someone who had this operation as
an adult give me some courage!!! I think
there is no other solution to heal
thiswound (the doc said that the fluids
below the foreskin prevent healing etc)

had it done at 23 years old and regret it
to this day. had no medical problems and
during routine exam my dr. suggested it be
done. i had about half inch overhang and i
liked it that way. sex was greatly
pleasureable and after it was done you
lose a great deal of sensitivity. at 55
years i wish i had the foreskin back.
