Am interested to find out if anyone out there is suffering with post herpetic neuralgia? If so, what medications work for you, or not... And how long have you been coping with it? Anything and everythign you wish to share.

Re: Post Herpetic Neuralgia
I just joined this forum and I hope you have found relief for your phn by now. Just wanted to note that my mother-in-law finally found relief after seeing a neurologist. He prescribed loritab for the pain, not the darvocet she had been using for the 8 weeks prior with no real relief. He also gave her an rx for neurontin to help heal the nerves. By the next day she was pain free for the first time in many weeks.

Hope this helps!

Re: Post Herpetic Neuralgia
I have had severe chronic pain due to post-herpetic neuralgia for 7 years and I have had my first few good nights of sleep in five years after using this new product my doctor recommended to me. I had tried everything to reduce my pain but nothing worked, I even tried epidural morphine but it was no help.

God bless. Jill
