14 Years Old; Small Lump and Slightly Concerned
Hey guys. I'm fourteen years of age and just now found a little lump under my left armpit. It's small, about the size of maybe a pencil eraser? It doesn't hurt either, but when I press on it, it feels like it's attached and doesn't move. Should I be worried, or is this a sign of a block sweat gland (etc.)? I know it's very close to that time of month for me...

pea size lump under armpit
I had a lump once under my armpit and had a biopsy on it. It turned out to be..believe it or not; Cat Scratch Fever! It is a real thing. I do recall a cat that may have been unhealthy scratch me once so it really was. It was not a perfectly round pea shape though, it was more like popcorn shape and when it was removed, it looked like that..popcorn. However, 10 years later just recently same area, I found a pea shaped bump...i am going to the doctor this week. I feel it may be some left over from the biopsy or I am hoping just a cyst or sweat gland but I am a 45 year old woman, so it could be something a lot worse. I will soon see and in the meantime I can't worry, I have to just find out the facts first...unfortunately i dont have health insurance so if it is bad its going to be a rude awakening for sure. Live one day at a time and be happy is all i can say. AND GET HEALTH INSURANCE!

I found a lump in my arm...
Hi, my name is Kalah and I just recently found two lumps in my left armpit. Both are seriously hard and one hurts by just barely moving my arm at all. I'm worried now because I think I remember hearing from past conversations with people having it could lead to cancer. Cancer is a normal thing that runs through my family but I'm seriously praying that's not the case for me... I'm poor though and I can't see a doctor soon... will it get worse? Or will it just go away? Please help!

...
hello.
im 15 now,
but when i was 13 i found a lump under my armpit one morning, it just randomly appeared. so i went to the docter and he said it was nothing. well than the next day it got bigger. i went to another docter and they said it would blead like a steak if they were to pop it.
so they found out two options. it was either " cat scratch fever " or " lymphoma " ... but i had no symtoms of cat scratch fever so we just thought it was cancer. Sad the very next day i had to go in for surgery. they removed one of my lympnoids, and did testing .. by this point i was very depressed. but it turned out it was just cat scratch fever. now trust me i was scared to get the results. but it was worth it. Smile
hope this helped.

Underarm Bumps & Such/ Deo May Be the Issue
i read years ago that the type of deodorants that we commonly use, most of which contain aluminum as a major ingredient to stop perspiration, are likely to cause blockage in the armpit area. Thus, blockage of sweat/perspiration can cause a build up of toxins in this area. Afterall, it is normal for the body to purge toxins through various means like sweating. Swollen lymphnodes may be the result in this case, as well as in worse cases, cancer may result, as breast cancer patients have been known to have cancer starting from and/or at the underarm area as well as the chest. I too have experienced the bump in my underarm area, and took note of its tenderness, but I realized that I had been using an aluminum-heavy deo because i hadnt had an opportunity to get more of my usual, aluminum-free brand- i stopped using deo alltogether for a few days (sounds crazy but it was over the weekend, so i didnt car at all, lol). I noticed that one- the tenderness went away, and two- so did the bump. There are more natural deodorants that protect but without harsh ingredients or chemicals that block. My underarms have become irritated and excessively dry when using deos w/ aluminum in them, so I found others from the local health store as well as through a company called Melaleuca, which provides non-toxic and non-caustic products for your home and body. Bottom line though, if there is a bump anywhere on your body- its always better to be safe than sorry, so keep that in mind. However, this is something that can persists if the true cause is not determined so explore the possibility that it might be caused by products or ingredients in the products we are using.

Hope I've helped.

Lump under Bicep - Need feedback
I too have a lump under by bicep. I have had it for a few years now. However, I have only recently started getting a tingling sensation in my arm. The lump has remained the same size throughout. Any feedback is appreciated. I am seeing a doctor on the 28th.

i am a 14 year old female and i have noticed two mysterious lumps under my armpits. under my left armpit, i have a red, itchy spot and no hair is growing there (i've stopped shaving for the past couple weeks because it hurts). it itches all day and i try not to scratch but i always end up sneakily scratching it through my shirt. Under my right armpit, i have a small, pea sized lump. At first i thought it was a pimple because of the size and tenderness but it wouldnt pop or anything. the next day, i felt around it and could feel it through my skin. it's hard to describe but i can like feel how far down under my skin it goes. there is a constant, dull aching under my whole right armpit and sometimes, like during gym, my whole right arm will start to ache. Also, i have had a stomach ache for about two months. I sometimes get heart burn but it doesnt feel like that. Its around my belly button and its the same aching that is under my arm pit.

I have heard of 16 year olds having breast cancer but it just seems like not possible... i'm too young, right?

Also, girls in my class joke around saying that wearing your bras when you sleep give you breast cancer. I sometimes wont take off my bra for a whole week because i feel naked and gross without it. I have stopped wearing it when i sleep and am just around my house but i dont like it. please tell me if this is true so i can stop!!

My breasts arent sore unless i squease them firmly but thats normal right?
