I Found a Lump Under My Armpit And It Isnt From Shaving (Page 8)

It's on both armpits, and it's approximately in the area where the underwire of my bra ends, I'm wondering if this is a factor for causing the bump. When I took a shower, it wasn't there. Later that day, it was there and it hurt so much. The bump on my right is bigger than the one on my left, I'm right handed and I carry a bag that goes on my right. The color of the bumps are more pink, but the one on the right is bigger and a bit more red. Surely they are not pimples because what are the odds of having them in the same spots on both arms? It did not happen because of a shaving incident because I have shaved before and this never happened. Plus, it's too big to be because of a shaving cut and it feels as if the bump goes a bit deeper into my skin. The bumps hurt a lot, of course, and it was hard for me to sleep. I'm really worried, but I'm going to ask my mom to get it checked out.

Mine is further up my arm instead on were the underside of my bra is. I am also going to get mine checked out just in case. Yours sounds a bit like a boil or something mine does not hurt at all unless you push really really hard into it.

I am 13 years old, I found a lump under my arm I can fit two fingers round it , hard disentangle hurt when you squeeze it but does when u push it in deeply.
Please could you help ? I really worried about it.

Hi there i am a 20 year old male and i have recently found a lump under my left armpit it is approximately half a cm in diameter. I first found it about 2 weeks ago and assumed it was a just a blocked sweat gland or maybe i caught an infection from shaving my armpit, after reading several posts saying that it could be due to certain antiperspirants; i stopped using the deodorant under my left armpit only. The size of the lump went down but it didn't completely disappear, i started re-applying the deodorant again and now it has come back around the original size again. The 'lump' is quite solid, the first time it appeared i tried squeezing it and some (Only a little) bit of white fluid came out it was quite viscous. Before it appeared i think i recall a sleight red rash appearing beforehand but i cant be certain... when i apply relative pressure to the 'lump' it does hurt a little bit but its not painful and unbearable. I have also been coughing a lot recently (this is normally a symptom of lymphoma if im not mistaken). I am booking an appointment with my local GP.. But i am quite worried about it, can anyone give me some advice on what they think it is. (I tried to give a detailed description so i could get some feedback) Any help would be appreciated.

ive had a small, hard, non-painful, non-mobile lump under my arm for about 4 years now, and after reading these posts im thinking maybe i should get it checked out lol

Okay so I'm a female and a teen... I found this lump on my armpit a couple days ago and it kind of hurts/:... I think it might be cancer and I'm really scared... It's about a inch tall and about half a inch wide... It hurts when I put deodorant on... What should I do??

I am a 3 year hodgkins Lymphoma survivor. The lyphnodes that are in your axillary region (arm pit) are really hard to feel. Also here is a key thing to remember with any form of cancer. PAIN IS A GOOD THING.
It is when there is no pain and the knot is not movable is when there is time for concern. I hope this information will help someone.

i recently found a lump in my armpit i've read others but i was wondering if a constant swelling of the throat and a constant thirst has any connection with it at all....

I am 15 this year, found a lump under my armpit around last year end. The lump keeps on reappearing (3rd time) & is getting bigger each time. Did not do anything to it for the 1st and 2nd time & it just disappears on it's own. It hurts a lot right now. Everytime the lump reappear, I feel like my whole body is aching & as if I'm having fever. I'm afraid to tell my mum about it. Any suggestions? ):

DO NOT try to drain this yourself - It could be any number of things and the person that said to take a hot pin to it, honestly?!? Don't tell people this. You GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR just in case it might be cancer! If it's not, that's fantastic. But if it is and you've tried to stick a hot pin in it, you're asking for trouble. Have it checked out and if your Doctor doesn't seem to care, get a second opinion. You don't take no for an answer and you don't walk lightly around this stuff!

I have painful lumps under both of my arms. They actually come and go. It is almost time for my period, so I am guessing it has to have something to do with that. I am fretful about it to say the least. So many people has cancer and it has me really scard. Wish I could just get them to go away and never come back. Any ideas on what it could be?

I got a lump on my armpit. I jus saew it now while havin a bath. And everytime i wear sleevless my armpit hurts . The lump came before .i went to doctor and she said nothing to worry about without even checking it. So now i not goin again. And by the time my doctor appointment day comes, the lump goes lol.

I was having some pain in my arm pit last week but didn't think much of it. Then I found a lump a few days ago. I know if it is cancer most likely it's not going to hurt but I'm still concernd. There is no head on it like a zit it's just a lump umder my skin but it feels like a bruise when I touch it. I made an appointment with my doctor for this afternoon and I hope all goes well. It is very comforting to know I am not the only one out there with arm pit issues lol!

my mate at work today said that i should get it checked out coz it cud be dangerous. so i went to my walk in centre at lunch and the nurse checked it out and said that i need to go to my doctor straight away to get antibiotics because i have an ABSESS. so now iv bought them and guna start eatin them from tomorow

so found a lump under left armpit while washing it with soap in shower. got out shower and looked at it under bright light. it was around the size of a pea maybe bigger. no visable signs unless looking at it from a side veiw, i could notice thelump.. so did a search on " small lump under armpit and this was the first site i went to. after reading hear i did a self check all over body no additional lumps. read about people sqeezing the lumps and they hurt so i decided to do that and see what happened.it was not painful when sqeezed rather irratated or anoying maybe nothing at first but since it didnt really hurt to sqeeze i decided to give it a really hard sqeeze and see if that hurt, when i did that a massive amount of what appears to be puss squirted out like a giant pimple and then blood came after. the lump is still there but im assuming if will go away in the next day or two like a pimple does or maybe another sqeezing is in order.

so i am by no means a doctor or can i say you should try to sqeeze your lump, maybe you could cause more problems. but i will update this message
1. if the lump disappears in the next few days or
2. if the sqeezing/draining of the lump does not make it go away.
