I am surprised that no one has replied yet. I have adult adhd and symptoms vary. But include : impulsiveness, distractability, lack of focus, being unorganized, unable to finish what you start, social problems, being overly sensitive, forgetfulness, and others. It can create other problems if it goes undetected. Adults diagnosed with adhd may have, a social disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, personality disorders, low self-esteem, depression(some bipolar), and antisocial disorders. But these depend on the severity of there problem, heredity, and coping skills, as well as enviornment and other things. I am not on meds so I can not be of assistance there. I have mitral and tricuspid valve prolapse so I cannot take stimulants. I've tried wellbutrin which is supposed to help but it did not seem to help me. I would like to try strattera but I have no insurance at this time. I saw your other post. Please let me know how it works for you. I also have two children with adhd. And I am fixing to put my oldest on it. He is on medicaid. Read driven to distraction or try searching the internet or library. I found a wonderful video tape about adult add at the library called all about adult add. It was great!!! Well good luck in your endeavors!!!!!!!

Ps. Please let me know about the strattera!
