Well it is fixed now. My transmission was hitting really hard everytime it shifted to the point where I thought it was going to drop for sure. So, it sat for a week while I waited for my dad to come home on the weekend and "look at it" well, he says, "it is shifting a little funny, but it's okay"
of course, I knew better. I wasn't going to drive it and mess something up and then have him yell at me, ya know?
So, it sat for like another week. Then on voting day, I just have two miles to drive to vote, so I took it. It wasn't doing it. I mean, it was shifting funny, but it wasn't knocking like it did. So I ended up driving it all day (of course I already missed school!). I took it to a transmission place and he took it for a test drive. He told me not to drive it like that because I will mess all kinds of stuff up(see I am good). He thought it was an electrical problem because he had like six error come up on that little diagnostic machine. 4 were electrical and 2 were transmission. Well, he couldn't fit me in for two weeks, which was okay because I didn't have money anyway. So it took about five weeks altogether. It ended up being some kind of valve inside the transmission had rotted somehow and it cost me $650. It could have been much, much worse, but you know, I don't have that kind of money! So, my dad paid for it (which I hate) and I have to pay him back now. But, keep in mind, I just paid $290 a week before it broke to get new front brakes/rotors and to get it inspected. And now, my back drums need replaced very, very badly and I need my snow tires put on! It never ends!
And the sad thing is I owe on my care for 3 more years! Ha! Imagine that one. Grrrr.
