Cold Symptoms?
Posted: 11-30-04 16:51pm

Has anyone had like cold symptoms in the early stages of their pregnancy..Or thought they had a cold and found out that it was really just pregnancy? Random question I know..But I heard about it and wondered if it was common?

I dont know if it is common or not, but flu like symptoms were my first sign. You know how you feel like you are going to get the flu, and you just know when you wake up the next morning you will be sick? That is how I felt for 4 or 5 days straight, and when I actually didnt get completely sick, thats when I knew something was up. Sure enough, I was pregnant.

I've heard about stuffy nose being a symptom! Whats the difference between a cold and the flu as far as symptoms go? How far alone were you when you had the stuffy nose and thought you had the flu?

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I went to the doctor cause I thought I was coming down with the flu. Well it turns out I was about 11 weeks pregnant! When I told him my symptons the first thing he asked me was if there was a chance I could be pregnant. I said I don't think so. But he gave me a pee test, and it turned up ++++

I only had sex like 1 week and 5 days ago! I don't think I would be getting it as a pregnancy symptom or anything! I hope not!

Really? That is really early to find out. My doctor told me I was lucky to get such a dark line when I was 4 weeks.

She didn't do a hpt or any type of urine test...She went to her doctors office because she said she just new that she was pregnant and she got sick when she tried to brush her teeth..And he gave her a blood test!
