Ok so let's say that I had sex with my girlfirend the day after her period while using a condom with the spermicidal lubricant.... Would this be just about the best way to avoid pregnancy without using any type of pill? And discounting abstinence... Thanks

As long as you are using condoms correctly and with a spermicide,you should be fine.Just remember that no method is 100%.Good luck to you both.Patty
