Hello,
i am a 20 year old female in the military
getting ready to leave off deployment from
korea on the 30th of nov. Me and my
husband just found out I was pregnant
matterfact im 5 weeks and 3 days. I went
and got a pelvic exam because I was having
slight spotting, he said my cervix was
closed so thats good but he does some
blood but the good thing about that is its
old blood(dark brown). And no infection
was found to be causing bleeding he just
told me to take it easy for now and its
very possible I carry into full term, but
in my records he states that he has to
consider it threatened abortion because im
bleeding. After the exam I went home and
layed down when I got up I noticed more
dark brown blood not to heavy though and
not medium it was pretty light that was on
the 28th nov, now on the 29th I still have
the dark brown spotting continuing on
through the day. I really need some good
news right now because im scared im going
to lose my first born!

I think that since it isn't bright red you
will be ok
we lost our first and there was no brown
blood only red
how are you feeling otherwise?
Try, try not to stress over this, think
positive
good luck

i was thinking the same thing. I have no
experience with miscarriage, but I have
heard that it would be bright red. Brown
blood is old, and bright red is new. And
there is usually some kind of pain/cramps.
Hey momma2be I am in korea too. Are u
army or airforce? I really do not know
about this personally but most people I
know had cramps and alot of big gushes of
blood!

When I had my 2nd miscarriage it happened
slowly, it was soooo sad
i was on the ship on the way back from
hawaii all excited that I was prego, but
scared to tell my senior chief so I was
stressing out and getting a lot of
migraines, and then I started bleeding,
that freaked me out so I went to my lpo
and he sent me to doc and he gave me a hpt
qhich was positive, and put me on bedrest,
sadly there is nothing you can do to stop
an abortion, but staying in bed on your
back will slow it down. When we finally
got to san diego my husband then boyfrien
took me to the hospital and they did an
internal ultrasound and I was ably to see
the baby I was losing, it was the saddest
day of my life. I was flying home to nc
later than evening and they said I had to
do a dnc so I wouldn't have the
miscarriage on the plane. It was sooo
awful. I don;t know what I would have
done without richard, he was so great to
me. I hope you don't have to go through
that, but again, I never had brown blood,
even though it happened slowly.

oh, momma. I'm so sorry. That is too
sad. You've been through a lot in your
young life.
