Help!! Very Confused Posted: 10-20-03 07:18am
Hi,
i have just been diagnosed with epilepsy.
I'm twenty five and it just seems that
this came from no-where, no accident ,
does not run in family!! Nothing ...
I'm finding this very frustating, I have
attacks/siezures only when i'm asleep
starts and ends with a migrane headache
(which I have been having for ever)
i'm feel like i'm not coping , my attacks
have increased to daily , i'm on
medication but it doesn't seem to help, I
am depressed alot and anrgy. I have
spoken to my doctor but all she reverts to
is more medication and thinks I should
relax..
Please help I am very confused :

My son has had epilepsy for 8 years.
Fortunely we got a good doctor to start
out.
Now im not so sure about this last one.
I would if you can get a second opinion.
Go to another doctor and see if they
conclude the same thing.
I have a friend whose daughter has been a
epieptic all her life she is now 13 ,they
put her on a kenectic diet and it helped
greatly with her seizures.
Ask you doctor about this also .
Good luck and
god bless

I was 32 and we sound the same. What is
happening a part of the brain is very
slowly dying. But I knew there was
something wrong my whole life.I call it
the loss of life.I had brain surgey 3
years later.I'm great! What they do is cut
a hole in the skull the size of a
half-dollar.Take out a part of the brain
the size of a pinky finger.Since your
brain is slowly dying you could have the
surgery today, and feel more stupid or year
after year get only a little bit stupider
each year, and then years later, have the
surgery and feel the same like I do.
