I'm not sure what to expect from this forum but here goes. My mother has been having health problems ever since her hysterectomy. She has been diagnosed with diabetes type i, pancreatitus, ibs and most recently she has acquired painful arthritus. She has undergone 3 colonoscopies, 2 catscans and even an mri. So far, the health care providers in ontario have removed a perfectly healthy gall bladder and reopened a bioduct. She has abdominal pain most days, and has chronic gas. She also has profuse anal bleeding (we're talking bowlfuls) that they haven't been able to diagnose. Everytime she has a "pancreatitus" episode they put her on a iv, give her pain killers and send her home again after a few days. Last week, her anal bleeding and ab pain were very bad and she was very pale. When she went to the hospital her white blood cells were critically low so that she required a transfusion. No one can tell her what exactly is wrong and how to treat "it". She takes painkillers for the arthritus, hormone replacement therapy pills, beta blockers for an irregular heartbeat, insulin shots for diabetes, and I worry that the meds are causing some of these problems. Any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated.

stomach and gas
I had a severe lower back pain over the week-end and before the onset I had a bad bloating pain in my stomach. I thought I just needed to release stuff in my stomach and went to the bathroom for a few extended minutes. Then when I just got into bed and horrible pain in my lower back about where my waistline is for a while. I messaged my back until I feel asleep, and woke up to go to the bathroom to throw up. I puked about 2 qts and nothing but what I ate that day came up and there was no fluid (maybe just enough to say it was wet). Then went back to bed to be waken again to go to the bathroom with diarrhea, this happened about 3 separate time. I feel off to sleep and woke up the next morning feeling drained so stayed in and then somewhat out of sort the day after as well. Can you get me some idea of what may have occurred? I have been under alot of stress lately. But now feel like by anal area is always warmer than normal and I still have alot of gas. What could be up??? Thanks for your help.
