No, no, it was on the first page. And
no, they aren't hereditary. I mean, if
your mom got them then, yeah there is a
chance that the elasticity in your skin is
like your mother's as you are her blood
and whatnot, but they aren't really
considered hereditary. Lots of people
get stretch marks when their mothers
didn't and lots of people don't get them
when their mother's did. It all has to
do with the proteins in your skin tearing.
It isn't like male pattern baldness or
anything like that.

Does it say it is hereditary in there?
That is funny. I mean, I could be wrong.
It may be considered hereditary, but in
my anatomy and physiology book it says
that "contrary to popular belief 'stretch
marks' aren't hereditary" maybe they are
the ones who suck, I dunno.
All I know is my mother never got a single
stretchmark with three kids, and I (who
have never been pregnant) already have
them on my boobs and butt just from
fluctuation five or ten pounds. Grrrr.

Who knows, maybe they all suck. Lol. Im
crossing my fingers with the stretch mark
thing. My mum never got them w/ me and my
sister (her only kids), I havent gotten
any yet. <knocks on wood>

Oh ur lucky, u may not get them, I know
i'm going to. When I was a kid and had a
growth spurt, I used to get little ones.

Have have some really bad ones on my sides
right now cause of a major growth spirt.
I got pretty tall fast I want them to go
away
