I have a beta named kenai (if any of u have ever seen brother bear, he's named after the main character) 
he's really pretty (purple, pink, and blue), but apparently u can't have other fish with betas...Cuz they'll fight each other and then get stressed out and die. It must be lonely for him..But sometimes he creeps me out. Lol he just stays there staring at me while i'm typing at my computer sometimes... He's doing it right now actually. Lol
i'm surprised he's lived this long actually...I've had him for almost 5 months and he's still going strong! I was told he might not live more than a month or two if I was lucky. Go kenai! Lol

Aww the poor betas...I wouldn't do that to my kenai. He's too cute i'm just worried about how i'm gonna get him home at christmas....U think they'd let me take him on the plane?
