You can definately be pregnant. Some women get a 'period' all nine months. Very rare though. If you are having sex, there is always a possibility of pregnancy. About the guy......Whatever. I mean, it's up to you. You don't need him if he's going to be immature about it. If he freaked, he shouldn't be having sex. That's how babies are made. 
take another hpt after your next light period, or go get a blood test. Some women have to have a blood test, because their pregnancy doesn't show up on urine tests. Treat yourself like you're pregnant until you know for sure. Meaning like no drinking, smoking all that stuff. Keep us posted.
