I'm 19 and I was married when I was 18 so I think I can relate to you. Close enough.

I married at 22, but had been dating the guy since 18. I don't recommend it either. Everyone is different though. I just don't understand how anyone can possible know what they want out of life at 18....
But then on the flip side. ... My sister married her high school sweetheart and they have bene happily married for many many years. They are in their 40's now.

Hi,
im 17 and im getting married next year. Me and my guy have been together for 2 years, and have been engaged for a year. My parents are helping alot with the wedding, so it does help if they approve of you getting married, and I might be young, but I say if you love each other then go for it. So if you really love him then go for it, do what you feel is right in your heart. Well I hope you make the right choice......Good luck.

I'm 19 and have been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years. We are engaged and have been living together for almost a year now. We would already be married but we have some problems with distance and family keeping us from it. I completely believe that you can get married at a young age and have the marriage last. It just depends on the people, some work out and some don't. If my boyfriend and I survived a long distance relationship for 10 months we can get through anything and everything together!

Hmm
I have a question yall.. I'm 17 well 18 in less than a month and i've been with my boyfriend for quite some time now, he's 21. And we both love each other more than words could ever say and we'd do anything for each other and I really badly want to marry him... But he was raised in a family in a way that he doesnt see the point to marriage, he doesnt understand the meaning behind it and i've tried explaining it calmly to him whats its about what it represents, etc. And he still maintains he doesnt need a piece of paper to prove he loves me and is one with me, heart and soul. What do I do..?

I'm engaged right now and im only 16, but u see the only thing is my parents dont know but my b/f's parents do. So I am just gonna wait to tell my parents when im like 17 and a half. Because they would freak out if they found out about me and my future hubby. I cant wait until my parents give me permission to move out because the first thing im doing is moving in with my fiance and then I will plan out my wedding and then just go get married. Lol

Im 19 married at 18, it will be a year aug.14th. My husband asked both my parents for my hand and I got a caret and a half ring. We eloped but had the huge wedding in may. I adore my husband but what they say about the first year and it being the toughest it true. My husband and I have been together since I was 16. Weve already gone through him being away at war twice. Id say for all you girls looking to be married, live with the guy first because you dont really know someone until you live with them, no matter how much you think you do. I love the fact that he asked my mom and dad both if he could have permission to marry me. Both of our parents have been there for us and that has helped a lot. I dont judge young couples for being married because I do know that they can have healthy, sucessful relationships.

Engaged At 17
I've 17 and ive been engaged sence february. Me and my soon to be hubby have our own appartment also. Were getting married next june. By then I will be 18 so... But it does help when the parents approve that is true. I think if you really think you are ready for it then go for it. Its gunna be a change especially when your young and im prepared for that so if you are ready good luck and congratulations!!!

I got married at 19 and only knew him for a year. We've been married for 2 years and haven't even got into a fight yet. Not even close...He's 7 years older than I am too, which seems like alot but he's still the love of my life. My mom was married at 19 too and she's still with my dad who she married then. They've been together for over 25 years and are still happy. My husband's mom was married at 16 and is still married to the same man....35 years for them....
So you see you can get married young and be happy forever...Just make sure you know the person and understand each other...My love for my husband goes way beyond the fact that he's cute and what I felt for him when we were dating. We make each other a better person and I think that's why we are so happy together.

I know five guys who have married when they were 17-18. Three of them are my classmates and two are from our team. Now we are 22 and they all are divorced. And only one of them is looking forward for marriage. :!: :?: :!:

I've only been with my boyfriend for 5 months and I want to get married, im in love finally!!!
Also, if a girl is 16 and your over the age of 18, there is no legal way for you 2 to move in together without concent, or if her mother legally doesn't have care for her anymore.
