I lost my virginity on monday (11-22-04) and we used protection and everything but im still paranoid that I could be pregnant. What are the possibilities that something could have gone wrong? And should I buy a pregnancy test?

Now, here's the other part of the story. I had to take steroids back in the summer because I had mono and strep and I havent gotten my period since because the drug in it makes it so you dont get ur period for at least 8 months so i'm not gunna kno if I am preg or not because I wont have a missed period.

Someone pleeassee help. Thanks Embarassed

I think your chances are very low, if you used protection. If you are paranoid, take a test. However, if you were to turn up pregnant, it wouldnt show positive right now. So I would wait a couple weeks. But I really dont think you have anything to worry about!

Anytime you have sex you take a chance. No one can tell you the exact probability because there are so many factors to consider.

If you are this worried then you really shouldn't be having sex. But if you are going to be sexually active then go on the pill/patch/ shot/ something, use condoms and a spermicide. Maybe that will help your worrying.

Just try to calm down because if you are pregnant then you are pregnant, and if you aren't, you aren't. What is done is done. But if you used condoms then I think the percentage of effectiveness is 80% or something like that. You will most likely be fine.
