Q: Phimosis?

Hi, i've recently found a disorder called phimosis. I'm worried that I suffer from it. I've been masturbatiing since about 12 possibly younger. Eitherway throughout all that time i've never managed to get my foreskin over my glans and it gets really tight and starts to hurt when there's about a 1cm in my foreskin over my glans. I've read up on stretching and i'm currently in the process of trying that now (not as we speak you understand?).

I have a rather strange masturbation technique too and I think that may artibute to the problem. Basicaly I grip the head of my penis through my foreskin (no choice Sad) and just rub my head up and down through the foreskin. Would this be a problem? I just find masturbation with the shaft of the penis is awkward and it takes more time for me to climax. I masturbate daily.

I'm 17 years old and i'm 18 next may. I'm a virgin. Is this normal (not me being a virgin, the question applies to the above)

Hello, I am 19 and will be 20 in a few months. I have done a great deal of reading on the subject and suffer from the same condition as yourself. Many doctors are unable to correctly diagnose the difference between phimosis and slow development. I am a normal male for my age and the condition does not impact on sexual activity. The best advice to give is do read up on the subject, form your own opinion and then book an appointment wih your doctor.
Take comfort in that in all of my sexual relaionships the subject has never been mentioned or in any way been a problem.
I have found the following web site to be of much help

I was circumcised shortly after my post above in 2004. Best decision I ever made. Massive improvement appearance and sensation.

The operation was very quick and I had it under general anesthetic so I was asleep. Left hospital the same day. Healing took about one month.
