I left a message in here about a week ago
and I took a pregnancy test because my
period was a week late... It came out
negative. I'm now 2 weeks late. I'm
not really stressed about being pregnant
or anything like that but my boyfriend did
just leave 4 days ago to go to bootcamp
for the airforce. So im wondering how
late have any of you been from stress cuz
this has never happend to me before.
What are the chances of my test last week
being wrong.. Pretty low right? Any
input would be great thanks girls.

Hi hun! My name is sarah, 22 weeks
pregnant, 20 years old. If you were a
week late when you took your test, most
likely the test would, or should anyway,
show up positive. However, some girls
dont get a positive until a couple months
sometimes! Are you on birth control?
Did you have unprotected sex? If so,
then there is a chance that you are
pregnant and you may be one of those who
have to wait a little longer to get a
positive (some girls have more hcg (which
is the pregnancy hormone that is detected
in the hpts to give you a positive) in
their system, some girls dont get enough
to show a positive til later in their
pregnancy) anyway, if you didnt have
unprotected sex, id say there is a good
chance that you are not pregnant and will
just have to wait for af to show!! If you
need anything else let us know! Or pm me.
Good luck to you and keep us posted!!

Thanks so much for your reply...Well, i'm
not on birth control cuz I tried two
different kinds and they had bad side
effects with me. But the condom did
break about 3-4 weeks ago, but he pulled
out but there's always precum u know?
I'm just worried because if i'm not
pregnant then I dont know why my period is
so late? I can't really go to the doctor
because i'm not covered by my insurance
until january so if there is something
else that is wrong with me i'd have no
idea? I gues it could just be stress
though, right?

Lynn- yes, it could be stress. That will
delay a period. When you say the condom
broke, that makes me think that you have a
higher chance of being preggers, even if
he did pull out. One of my friends got
pregnant using the pull out method.
Anyway, I don't want to scare you girl! I
would relax, see if af comes, if not, take
another hpt, if it still comes out neg, I
would assume you are not pregnant. Then
wait until you get insurance and go and
check out what's going on with your
system! I wish you the best of luck! I
hope this helps somewhat...I'm not a
doctor but will tell you as much as I
know!!

Remember hun stress can make your period
late, so worrying about it isn't going to
help. Do another preggo test and see what
happens. If you don't have any insurance,
are there any free linics you can go to?

I know where I am from, the only free
clinic that we used to have you now have
to pay for everything! But in larger
cities, I would imagine there are more
places where you can get help for free.
I would check it out if I were you!

I doubt your preggy, but there is a
possibility. You said you are stressed
about possibly being pregnant, and i'm
sure thats why ur period is late. Mine is
like that all the time! If I get stressed
about little things, my period is always
late... And i'm on birth control too,
which is supposed to make ur cycles
regular (blah!).
Lol, I wouldnt worry about it too much,
i'd just relax. If you are preggy, theres
really nothing you can do about it right
at this moment, so just relax! I bet if
you relax and just try to forget about it,
it'll come!
Good luck sweetie!

week and if there is still nothing i'll
take another test.. I just feel like i've
been stressed so many times in my life and
never been late? Ha I dunno thanks though
