Q: Head Aches And Neck Pain

I have lately been having neck pains and head aches when my heart acts up. My doctor's nurse says that this is because my heart has to work so hard to pump blood throughout my body. I would like to know what exactly does this mean and if I am having serious problems. I also have mitral valve prolaspe with systems and high cholestrol.
