Q: Ultrasound Next Week!

I totally forgot that I have an ultrasound next week already! I have already had 3, and will be getting 2 more, reason is, I have to take a medication called a beta blocker for my heart condition. There is a chance that the beta blocker could decrease the baby's growth, so he wants to see that the baby is growing properly. I know its rare...But is there anyone else out there that has had to take a beta blocker while pregnant? (i know that they are also used for migraines and other purposes) just wondering....So far the baby is growing right on....I hope she will be ok!

I only had 3 and wont get another at all unless the Dr. Wants to see how hes doing. Which, wont happen. So the next time I see nicolas, is in my arms.

Yea, thats how it usually goes. Before I talked to my heart doctor he told me that I would probably have 2 ultrasounds, if there were no problems. However, since I found out I was pregnant, I went in twice for bleeding, and once for cramps, they did one ultrasound between those visits. Then after I talked to the heart doctor, he wrote a note to my ob saying he wants a few ultrsounds done to make sure baby is growing where she is supposed to be.

I had so many ultrasounds! I had 6, then I went into premature labor and they had to fly me out of my hometown because are hospital doesn't have the stuff to care for a preemie, so I was gone for 5 weeks and had to have ultrasounds 3 times a week! My little girl is here now, happy and healthy! But I got lots of pictures from all the ultrasounds and I got to see her all the time! So that was a plus!
