My mom for the past 2-4yrs has had this problem whenever she menstrates, she bleeds really heavily. It seems to be affecting the blood flow in her legs etc. About 1 year ago, she had an operation to see if the blood would stop flowing so heavily, it stopped for a few months and now has continued. Every month, she loses a lot of blood. She is 49, isn't she suppose to be reaching menopause?

Anyone know what this is? What it is called? Waht it could be?

Thank you.
