Help Please...driving Me Crazy. Posted: 11-20-04 12:22pm
Ok so down there I like to be hair free,
problem is the day after I shave I get
bumps everywhere. I don't know what else
to try, I feel gross with the bumps
everywhere and they are very
noticable...Someone tell me what to do
please!!

In my experience there's not much you can
do. I always get razor burn, and in my
case it lasts up to a week... Think
yourself lucky it only lasts a day!

There are many pre&post shaving
lotions and such that can help minimize
the bumps. One i've heard of ,but have not
tried myself is "coochie cream"".It is
supposed to give you a very close shave
and leave no bumps.I would love to have
laser on all my body hair-but it is very
expensive.Maybe when I win the
lottery!!!!Until then,i use schick
intuition razor.Pretty good,little bumps.I
tried waxing, but could not stand having to
let my hair grow out so I could wax
again.Loved the results for the first two
weeks, then the hair starts to grow
back-argggghhhhh.Good luck and keep
shaving!Patty

Okay, no one likes the "hairy scarey," but
come on! You are a woman and we have
hair down there. Being hair free is for
little girls! And if your doing it for a
man, i'd question his reasoning. It
seems so simple. The reason you have
bumps is because it's not natural. Keep
it nicely trimmed, but don't shave it off!

Nope,i do not do it for my man.I myself am
repulsed by the hair.I once dated a man
who b.E.G.G.E.D. Me to not shave.I told
him to date a sasquach(sp???) if he wanted
a hairy woman.Being au natural in the hair
department is just not for me!!!!Patty

I'm not saying to go completely natural.
Keep it trimmed and one should
definitelyshave around thier bikini area.
Who wants hair half way down their
thighs? But it seems logical enough to
me that you if you are creating a problem
for yourself, then stop creating the
problem! If shaving it all off makes you
hurt, then maybe not shaving it is the
answer.
