Hi , I know I have anxiety , it started about 6 years ago after my grandmother died. She died of cancer of the stomach, so know I always think I am going to get cancer. I think I have been checked for everything. But that is not the point, lately for the past month or two I have been feeling like I can't catch my breath, it started while I was at the gym on one of the machines.I thought something was wrong, I went to the dr he said that everthing sounded fine in my lungs and blood pressure was fine. That was 2 weeks ago when I went. But I still can't shake this. I have 3 kids 10, 7, 1&half. And a husband I am 31. My daughter has anxiety due to allergies. I have another appt. On monday for a physical but I thought this was from exercise but it seems to happen at all times except for sleep I guess what do you think? Rolling Eyes

Sounds Like Anxiety
What you are having could very well be panic/anxiety attacks. I myself have severe anxiety and paranoia, and what you described sounds like you may be experiencing the anxiety attacks. Sometimes, nothing in particular will trigger them. But maybe you are stressed in your family life, and you just panic.

Sorry, i'm not much for typing in help, but I will tell you one thing- when you go to the doctors, ask about the anxiety and panic attacks. He will more than likely put you on a mild prescription, and you'll be feeling fine in no time. Smile

I have severe anxiety and some paranoia aswell. I go to therapy every 2 weeks or so, and my therapist taught me deep breathing techniques. Both going to talk about your personal problems and the deep breathing is extremely helpful. I use the deep breathing when I have an anxiety/panic attack. Excercise, proper diet and a change in lifestyle can make all the difference with anxiety. Stress is a common cause of anxiety and anxiety/panic attacks. If you attempt to erase the stress in your life these symptoms usually lift or ease up. My advice is therapy, excercise, eating right and rearranging some stressful things in your life.

Hope that helps. Good luck.
