Q: Baby Name Poll

We are ttc and i'd like to start thinking of a unique yet not odd sounding name for my future baby. For girls, I love names that end in lyn.

I really like the name evelyn but dh thinks it sounds too old fashioned. So I thought why not change the e to an a and have it

avalyn- the name avalon means island and that is where my dh and I were married so it would be neat.

For a boy, I like the name camden. What do you girls think? Any suggestions would be appreciatted too.

Make sure u sound it out with a middle and last name to make sure it sounds good. Cuz i've been having that trouble. When I have kids, I wanna use my parent's and grandparent's names as middle names maybe, but I don't know what sounds good. So far I have:

anya may
latisha rose
dominic gordon
and
aiden garry

those are my top 2 for each sex....But I don't know if the last one sounds ok. I think the girls names sound nice, and the first boys name, but my dad's name (garry) just seems hard to work with for me....

But as I said I love camden.. I have never heard that as a lil boys name before..! Best of luck keep us posted.!

My husband and I are trying to conceive and here are some names that we both like:
for a girl- gabriella maria, izabella maria, and nora maria
for a boy- andrei stephen, alexandru ioan, and dominic andrew
my husband, andrei, is from romania so we are leaning towards the romanian names. Wink

Re: Baby Name Poll
How about katelyn (short for katie or kate),marilyn (short for mary) or jocelyn (short for jocie), gwendolyn (short for gwen)or make it simple like lynn.

For a boy you can name him dylan, llewellyn, or allan

hope this helped Laughing

I like the name ashlyn. I've liked that name for a few years but my husband says "veto". Camden sounds intelligent. Go for it!
