Q: Well, I'm Pregnant For Sure!!!

Hey everyone!!! For those of you who don't know me or know about my situation, here it goes. I'm 18 years old and my boyfriend is 19. I thought that after I had a miscarriage about three months ago the only way the pain would go away would be to actually have a baby with my boyfriend. Well..We began to have unprotected sex and I decicded (had a reality check really) that I didn't want to have baby. I knew that we weren't ready. Well... It was too late. I took a pregnancy test and it showed positive. Well, actually I took a couple (i guess because I dindn't want to believe that I actually was preggy). I took one this afternoon and in one min. It showed clearly that I was pregnant. I was scared to death to tell my mom so I had my aunt call and tell her. My mom was very understandable. My boyfriend says that he is excited but scared. He is in college.. And doesn't want to have to quit school. Well, my mom is going to make me a doctors app. A/s/a/p. According to the first day of my last period (october 16th) I would be 4 weeks and 3 days preggy. When I had my miscarriage I was only 3 weeks. I 'm so afraid i'm going to have another one... I don't think I could go through that again. Anyways, I have few symptoms right now, tender brests (right around the nipple mostly) a feeling of nausea at all diffrent times of the day, and also I have light cramping in my lower tummy...Is that normal?? I'm so worried about having another miscarriage. The cramping is freaking me out!!! Anyone 4 weeks pregnant???? I just wanted to let you all know what was going on. Please give me some advice...Any advice would be appreciated!!! Good luck to all who are preggy and who are trying to get preggy (tip: you usaully get pregnant when yuo don't wonna!!! Lol)

question: I am almost nine weeks pregnant. Over the past five weeks i've started getting painful abdominal cramps as well as pain in my lower back. I have also noticed a slight discharge. It's clear and kind of thin, with no color or odor. Is this normal?

answer: the pain you are experiencing may be ligament pain or spasm (a stretching, burning kind of pain in the left and/or right lower quadrant). This is normal in early pregnancy and as the uterus is better supported by the pelvic brim -- after about 20 weeks or so -- this should subside.

Back pain is probably the result of softening of the supporting ligaments and disks due to the elevation of progesterone. However, it could be related to bladder or kidney infection, so be sure you do not have an underlying urinary infection.

For the back pain, may I recommend elizabeth noble's book: "essential exercises for the childbearing year,". I would not give up exercise, but try those recommended in noble's book, which are back sparing. Walking is still fine, but running can be hard on the back. Pelvic rock, bridging (on the floor with knees bent and lifting the buttocks into air), mini-crunches with bent knees and lifting the head on exhalation are good. Posture and good body mechanics are important to remember. Avoid bending over and curving your back, especially when lifting. Keep the curve in your lower back and your shoulders back. "williams' exercises" are good, and most clinics have copies of these.

I would not worry about the discharge, as long as it does not cause discomfort or irritation or have an odor. It is most likely normal to the pregnancy.

I hope these problems soon resolve and you have a satisfying pregnancy. Good luck.

so yeah, cramps in early pregnancy is normal^^

i'm glad your mom is being understanding, I wish you the best of luck!!! And I will pray that you dont miscarry again. Good luck!

Hey ladies!!! I'm so scared right now!!! My mom is on my way to come pick me up from my friend kayla's house... I think i'm going to just break down and cry as soon as I see her. I know it has to hurt her knowing that i'm pregnant and not really ready for a baby. My boyfriend is coming down from va this weekend to visit (he is worried about what my step-dad is going to say to him). He told his mom last night too... But he's yet to tell his dad!!! Wish me luck!!!

Thanks!!! Everything went well when my mom came and picked me up. She made me a doctors appiontment for friday to find out my due date and stuff. I need to get on "baby love medicade." are any of you on that? A friend of mine is and she said that she doesn't have to pay for any of her doctors visits or medicines or anything. That is something i'm going to need for sure!!! Well, just wanted to ask if any of you ladies are on medicade and let you all know that my first doctor visit is friday!!! Thank you all for the support...And good luck in whatever you are going through!!!
