Q: Sudden Attacks of Vertigo

I have sudden attacks of vertigo. These usually occur when I am sitting still. The room suddenly spins and I can't see or hear clearly. I sometimes get a pressure feeling in my ears. These attacks last about 5 minutes or more. When the attack is over, I am tired and loopy. I get headaches as well. I am hypoglycemic but control it with diet. I also have tmj. I am getting tested for meniere's disease. I am also sensitive to loud noises. When I ask my kids to turn down the tv, they think I am crazy. Even my husband tells me it's not too loud. To me, it's deafening. Is there anyone else out there who is as frustrated with this as I am? My family thinks I am nuts. They believe me but I don't think they see the severity of it. Am I alone here or does anyone else know how I feel?
