I just can't handle this anymore, for 3 years my neck has been in terrible pain and I can't make it better. I went to this damn chiropractor, some young hotshot, and said I had some mild stiffness in my neck ( I was going for back pain before) . So without properly diagnosing me he adjusted it and i've been in horrible pain ever since. So i'm asking anybody here, please, if you can tell me what is wrong with it or how I can treat it, to help me. Doctors are so useless it seems, all they do is give me painkillers.

To describe the symptoms:

- the pain is primarily in my left side, though stiffness often goes to my right as a result.

- I can feel a small bulge in the top left-hand side which has been pressing on a nerve, causing all the pain i've been experiencing. X-rays have shown nothing.

And i'm totally open to any kind of alternative medicine, i'll try anything now. I'm so sick of living in constant pain, i'm only 19, I shouldn't have to deal with this cr*p at my age. Sometimes i've even thought about giving up and commiting suicide just so I don't have to deal with this anymore. Please suggest anything, anything at all that will fix my neck.

I have said this to several around here. My general family doctor was wonderful about providing vicodin and that was about it so when I didn't get better I asked for a referral to a specialist in spine technology. There are spine care facilities all around the country and they have special equipment to diagnose disease of the spine as well as other spinal issues. They will start out with mild to moderate treatments and will step it up as procedures fail. I would not allow a chiropractor to look at my cats x-rays let alone mine and I certianly wouldn't let them touch me! (that is just my opinion) but my mother and uncle have both been doled out broken ribs by chiropractors during thoracic adjustments. One in louisiana and the other in new york. In no way do I believe that these people are out to do harm to anyone but I also do not believe in what they consider to be medicine. I leave that to the true md/do professionals.

Pain
I live in pain 24/7 I do understand where you are coming from! Get your Dr. To send you to a pain management specialist, they are not able to help me, but they might be able to help you as you are younger. The main thing in my opinion is to try to avoid surgery at all cost as surgeries can cause more problems later, but if you must have surgery, then you must, their are also things such as physical therapy, pressure point injections, epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks. Another point is is to try to avoid stress. One thing that I have learned is to try and keep myself busy, keep moving and try not to dwell on it too much. Have you had a m.R.I., this will help to show you what the problem might be. Remember, you always have a right to a second opinion. I showed this combat conditioning exercise to my Dr. And he laughed at it and said to go ahead and try this and you will mess yourself up permanantly and end up paralyzed, but then again we are all different, it might work for some but always remember to check with your physician before trying anything new and different!
Good luck!
Sincerely,
sandy

Has Doctor Given Alternative Sandyallen ??
To be honest most doctors you show combat conditioning will laugh it off as dangerous or whatever and at the same time not explain why!! This is because they have no idea what these movements can or cant't do and are protecting themselves by offering other no risk/no result treatments like the ones you mention. Which is understandable don't get me wrong. But think of this if your doctor were such an expert/authority on the subject would he not have healed you by now. If all he can do is rubbish something he doesnt understand it doesnt say a lot for his medical abilities. I am not advocating everyone try these methods because they are not suitable for everyone. I only advise trying something which has helped thousands worldwide beat similar and worse problems without the need for a doctor, thats all. And to say they are dangerous and could cause paralysis is just ignorance
