I've been taking birth control for a little over a year. My gynie is letting me try ortho tri cyclin low instead of the regular ortho tri cyclin i'm used to taking. I just finished my first month of low and i'm a little freaked out. My boyfriend and I don't use a condom and while he usually pulls out, we slipped once this month.

I should be getting my period this week but I haven't been having the symptoms I usually do (moodiness, tender breasts). Could this be because I switched bc pills? Or is there a period less effectiveness when you are switching types of pills? Or am I just being over anxious?

Thanks

Could be the new pills.Wait and see if you get your period. If not,get a pregnancy test.If you take your pills as directed, you should be just fine.If you do not, that's another story.Good luck to you!Patty
