Hi all!!

I came down with strept throat a week ago, got medication, and for whatever reason he gave me a mono test as well. I have been as active as ever, but still have a soar throat and swollen lymph nodes, but not tired at all. Got a call back and now they want to do another mono for whatever reason. If im not experiencing any energy drain at all could I even have mono?? And if so would I still be able to transmit the virus?? My girlfriend wont come near me until she knows for sure!!!

Any help at all would be great! Thanks!

Hey I Have Had a Similiar Thing Happen

Except no cold symtoms no fever no nothing just big freaking toncils aand it hurts to swallow but I am energetic as can be so I dont really match the normal symtoms for the cold viruses or mono or bacterial infection my doc put me on 500grams I think of amoxillion or however its spelled and told me to come back monday unless of course I have impared breathing wich in that case go to saint judes imidiately I am 16 years old so I am figuring its either mychoplasum infection or however its spelled I dont do so good with these medical terms or a weird freakin virus or mono woohoo I sure hope not but out of all of these I would sa it seems more like mono than anything but I will know if when amoxillion works or not if it work then it was most likely the mychoplasum bacterial infection but I dont know any clue or advice from the readers out there I only have swollen toncils that are about this big in diameter and I am used a mirror so hopefully its acurate ------------ and alittle stiffness in the neck lol I have lots of gramatical errors lol sorry the monitor is starting to bug my eyes so I wasn't paying much atention
