Sometimes, you do not bleed at all.If you are active, play sports, use tampons, you could have already lost/stretched your hymen.I've never heard of anyone bleeding all that much for more than a few hours. It should not be anything like your monthly flow. You may not even notice it.However, everyone is different,as was said before.Just make sure that you are protected against both pregnancy and std's(no matter how nice your partner may seem!!!!).Always protect yourself!!!No matter what!!!!It only takes one sperm or one virus to cause a pregnancy or illness. If this seems too scary, then you need to reconsider your readiness for a sexual relationship.Being sexually active is an adult responsibility and if you cannot be responsible, then you should not become sexually active.(this goes for some adults as well!!!!)i hope you will not become sexually active without protection, for your health's sake as well as for contraception. Please talk to an adult you trust(i hope you have one,if not,you can pm me) regarding birth control. You should also see a gynecologist to make sure you are healthy before you become active and to discuss your contraceptive options.Good luck to you.Patty
