Well first off: how long have you been on this birth control? Have you been sick lately which could affect ingesting the pill? Have you had unprotected sex?

Breakthrough bleeding can occur without warning when on any bc. If its been fairly heavy for the whole week I would definitely contact your Dr. Im not sure I can really help as to why this might be happening... But I know pretty constant bleeding for a few days is ok, but a week might be pushing it...
