Q: How Soon Are Preg Test Accurate?

I got a blood preg. Test done on oct. 21 and it came back neg. The last time I had sex was sept. 6, so im guessing this is accurate. I am on the pill and used a condom the last time I had sex. My fiance also has a rare condition of pituitary/thyroid disease in which is endo. Is pretty sure he cant have kids w/out meds or at all.

We have fooled around btwn setp. 6 and oct. 21 (one time while I was on antibiotics), but he never ejaculated near my vagina. We would dry hump with one of us always having underwear on, and if anything got near my vagina it was pre-cum (sorry to be so personal), but being that he has a problem, im pretty sure there wouldn't be any sperm in it.

Any chance of being preg?
Any possibility getting preg. W/out sex (none since sept.6)

ps. Does anyone get months where they pms really bad while on the pill? I started xanax xr a few wks ago, so im guessing maybe thats having an effect on my pms. I feel like crap this wk, (sore tender breast - always get wk before, no appetite/cravings, headaches, achey, etc.) - dont think im preg.

*sorry im a worry wert, getting married in 11 months, dont want to screw anything up*

It sounds like your pretty safe from being pregnant. Have you missed any pills or have you been taking them regularly? If so I wouldn't worry about it. Especially if the test came back negative.

As for pms.. I got it almost every month even when on the pill. The pill helped with the cramps, but I still got some along with the moodiness and the breakouts.

It sounds like you are ok then.. It may be either coincidence that you are getting the pms this month or it could be that your body is regulating itself with the xanax. They put me on that one time but it made me too loopy to take regularly so I didn't take it long enough to see any side effects around my period.
