Well I know there is a way, but I can't get ahold of my mother this morning and she is an obgyn, but I will tell you what she would say, go to the hospital! Especially since your ob isn't doing anything to help!! I hope everything goes ok!!

Much love

It is kind of unhealthy and unsafe for you to try and check yourself for dilation. This usually isn't done until the last month of your pregnancy. They will start checking you every week during that month. There would be no need to know otherwise. Unless you are a high risk pregnancy with previous complications due to an incompetent cervix. If this is the case, you Dr. Would routinely check to ensure that your cervix is still closed. Hope this helps.

I just saw your other post and put the two of them together. I'm sorry. I don't know what I was thinking. If you insist that your Dr. Check you for dilation, s/he will probably do so. They kind of have to do what you want. Also, go ahead and ask what their policy is on induction. My Dr. Would induce electively within ten days of your due date. I was scheduled for induction and then went into labor on my own. Have you lost your mucus plug yet? Like I said though, I don't think it's healthy for you to try and check yourself. You could do it wrong without experience and that's never good. Ok... Good luck

Found a site and had my boyfriend do the check and it seems like I am 2-3cm dilated. I lost the link cause we had to unistall and then re install everything on the computer. But it told you how and said that it was safe. Dont see how it could hurt anything to check though, its not as if either he or myself would be harsh with anything concerning that area. But thank you all for the advice. :d

First of all mamax2 I have a 3 year old daughter also and I love her to death too I would not give her up for nothing. And it was your choice to iave two different baby fathers. (not mine's). Whatever floats your boat! Sometime's people may slip up and make very bad decision's sometimes and the outcome is bad but you have!to do whatever makes you feel better. Just like it made you feel better to get pregnant by a different man; again that was your decision (that would not have been mines). And quote me if i'm wrong you said : (kinda sick of hearing about woman who use abortion as a form of birth control). Well i'm saying to you i'm not kinda sick I am sick of other people judging other people period. So my advice to you is to read carefully before responding to anything.

If you sent me that by way of private message I dont see why you felt the need to post it as well. However I will respond only by saying that I did read your posts and you said something to the effect of you were not about to walk around with two baby's dads, which would lead anyone to believe that if you found out that it was not in fact your boyfriends that you would end the pregnancy. And as far as me choosing to have 2 babies by two dads it wasnt exactly planned, but I love my children regarldless of who they are from, but thats just me. I was not trying to judge you but you do have to realize if you post personal matters on a public board you are liable to get judged.

I felt the need to send you the message privately and I wanted to post it; I wanted to make sure you was going to get it. And it's for you to see why I did it just know I felt like doing!! Anyway, I don't want to hear no more about what you think of me and my pregnancy cause just like you said that's just me. So do what you do and i'll do what I do. End of discussion!
