Can you get pregnant 1 or 2 days after
your period?
Why is it when you get pregnant the
doctor counts the week of your period as
part of how many weeks you are
(pregnant)?
If you have had sex 7 days later with
someone else and get pregnant can't you
still tell who the father is (according to
how many weeks you are)
how long does it take after you have sex
to get pregnant?

Well did you wear a condom? Hopefully you
did if you sex with another guy 7 days
later. But no you cannot get pregnant 2
days after, it can happen though. It
depends if they came in you? It can be
right after sex that you get pregnant.
But it depends if you are ovulating which
is usually 15 days after your period but
some women ovulate at different times.
You should really be more careful. And if
you think you are, with until your next
period is late, then take a test.

Well with the 2nd guy yes he did wear a
condom, but before he put it on the tip of
his penis was barely touching my vagina
(but no he did not cum in me). And yes I
am pregnant. Last week they said I was 5
in a half weeks pregnant. So that means
this week i'm about six weeks. But the
weeks still don't add up to when me and
the second guy was together. The first
guy which is my boyfriend had unprotected
sex and he ejeculated in me.

Can I ask a few questions?
What was the first day of your last
period?
What days after your period did you have
sex?
The man you used a condom with, was he
inside of you at all without a condom?
(not just touching you)
it is possible, for some women, to get
pregnant right after their period. Every
womans cycle is different. Normally,
ovulation occurs about 14 days after the
first day of your last period.
The doctor will always based how far along
you are by the first day of your last
period. He might change your due date if
he does an ultrasound, though. The
ultrasound can be quite accurate as to how
far along you are.

The first day of my last period was sept.
2, 2003 and the last day of my period was
sept.6, 2003.
I had sex with my boyfriend on the
following dates: sept. 7 and sept. 8.
I had sex with the other boy with a condom
on sept. 14 (remind you that the tip of
his penis was barley touching my vagina).
And no he was not inside of me without a
condom.
I had sex again with my boyfriend on sept.
19, sept. 24 sept. 29 and sept. 30.

I take it that when you were with you
boyfriend on sept 14th and 19th that you
were unprotected? If so, it is most
likely that you got pregnant on one of
those days. It's highly unlikely that
the man you were with that wore the condom
is the father of your baby. Especially
if there was no problems with the condom.
Example: if it broke.
Does this help you at all? You probably
ovulated around sept 16. Give or take a
couple of days. Fyi...Sperm can stay
alive inside you for a couple of days.
So if you were with your boyfriend on the
14th, it's very likely that you could've
gotten pregnant a couple days later.
I hope this helps you a little.

No on sept. The 14 I was not with my
boyfriend I was with the other guy and we
used a condom.
Now on sept. 19 I was with my boyfriend
and we did not use a condom on that day
nor on sept. 7,8, 19,24,29 and 30th.
Now every time I calculate when I ovulated
it always tells me two things. I ovulated
on the 16th, or between the 18- 20th.
I'm confussed cause if I ovulated around
the 16th of sept. Then that probably
means it's the guy I was with when I used
the condom. But if I ovulated around
sept. 18-20 then it may be my
boyfriend's.

Sorry about the confusion. I misread
your message.
If I had to guess, I would say that the
baby is most likely by your boyfriend.
Especially since he's the only one you
were with unprotected.
The only way you are ever going to know
100% is if you get a dna test done after
the baby is born.
I'm going to assume that your boyfriend
doesn't know that you were with the other
guy? Does he know that you're pregnant?
I sympathize with your situation and wish
I could do something to help.
Again, i'm sorry about confusing you.

If you don't mind me asking, why do you
want to get an amnio?
I just want to warn you of the risks they
can cause to a pregnancy. There is a 5%
chance that you could miscarry and lose
the baby. I'm sure the doctor will tell
you the same thing.

I want to get it done because with that I
would know who the father is cause what
the doctors do is take a needle stick into
your belly button into the umbilical cord
draw the blood from the baby, they can
also get fetal cells from the baby also.
I'm not about to have a baby that is not
my boyfriends, I don't want to walk around
with 2 different baby daddy's

An amnio cannot determine who the father
of the baby is. When they do an amnio,
they are withdrawling amniotic fluid from
around the baby. The needle does not
puncture the umbilical cord. It
punctures the sac, but not the baby. The
purpose of an amnio is to screen for
different genetic abnormalities the baby
may have, such as downs syndrome. The
only way I have ever known to determine
who's the biological father is to have a
dna test done after the baby is born.
If you want more information on
amniocentisis, there is plenty online.

I looked at the website under prenatal
testing and don't see exactly what you're
talking about. Did you look then under
amniocentesis? All of the tests I looked
under said they are looking for genetic
disorders.

I called them also and it does cost a
pretty penny. Anywhere from 1000.00 to
2000.00

Hi I don't think ur being very smart about
this whole pregnancy. You don't want two
diff babys fathers? Well you should have
used protection with the other guy and
plus there are alot of women out there
with two diff babys by two diff fathers
don't get rid of the baby just because
your selfish. Thats so wrong its just a
baby like it really knows whats going on.
Thats just plan messed up!! Sorry for
being somean because I don't even know you
or anything but let me tell u something
there are so many women that want to get
pregnant out there and they will just call
you selfish.Sorry but that hurts all of us
women that want to be pregnant its a
beautiful thing!!!!!

I have a baby who is three and am 37 weeks
pregnant and the babies have two different
fatheres. I love my first one with all my
heart and wouldnt change having her for
anything in the world. Regardless of who
the father is thats still your baby.
Kinda sick of hearing about woman who use
abortion as a form of birth control

Just a Question

From what I am reading 4mebyme..It seems
like you want the other guy to be the
father. How would you baby have two
fathers if your boyfriend was the one who
took care of him/her for life?! It isnt
hard to be a father...Its hard to be a
daddy to a child. How old are you again?
I dont know if you posted it..But I dont
think I saw it. Why are you trying to
find ways to make the 2nd guy the father?!
I just dont get it. Youhave a boyfriend
who will be there for the baby if it is
his.(which I strongly believe it to be),so
why are you trying to mess it up. If you
dont want this child to be confused...Stop
sleeping around on your boyfriend. I dont
know what goes on between you and your
boyfriend.(i.E. He beats you, or yall
fight a lot) but if thats the case then
break up with him. Think about it this
way...If you were in love with someone,
would you want them to cheat on you,
possibly get another woman preggy, and not
tell you about it until the baby was born
and be told by the mother of the child?!
I dont know about you but I know a lot of
people would say no. Im not trtying to
criticize you at all...Beleieve me...Im
not that type of person..I just want you
to think. And please dont do any testing
to the baby unil the child is born!! I
wouldnt take any risks!!
Sarah!

Amnio's are not 100% safe. So it's not
wise to do this just to find out
paternity. There are definately risks.
You should really think about this before
you do it. It is none of my business and
I am not judging you, but it is somewhat
unsafe. It's more probable than not that
your boyfriend is the father, so why don't
you just wait until after the baby's
born?
To find out paternity during pregnancy
would still require your boyfriend to be
tested. So you'd have to tell him anyway.
You might as well just wait.
