Q: Ugly Feet

I have hideous feet. The skin is very thick and dry, and it cracks all the time. It's also very dark colored on the balls of my feet and the heels, so my feet constantly look dirty.

I get blisters very easily, and recently they have stopped going away. The ones that I get on the tops and sides of my feet will pop and shrink, but they stay red or a dark brown color. They ones on the balls of my feet turn white and the skin cracks open. It doesn't bleed or leak or anything, it just cracks and starts to peel off. Unfortunately, it never peels all the way off, and I have to use toenail clippers to cut the extra skin off, because it's too thick to pull.

My question is, is there anything that could make my feet normal? Is this some kind of disease, or do I just have icky feet? I've tried covering them in layers of lotion and putting socks on at night, but even that doesn't help (although it does feel disgusting). I would really like to be able to wear sandals or walk barefoot without being embarrassed about my feet anymore.

I doubt its a disease. If ur are putting off going to the doc then try some of these things:

when I get cracks on my hands I use a&d ointment (used for diaper rash) at night and put a bandaide over it so it can't rub off. Works great.

Also try a parafin dip (done during a pedicure)

also try foot scrubs and a pumice stone (found in beauty sections of stores)

um.... I've been told straight vitamin e oil is good for dry skin. (found by the vitamins in the store)

if none of these help u may want to consult the doc. They may be able to give u a better idea or another diagonsis.

Ugly Feet
Allergic dermatitis, psoriasis or simply dry skin area few conditions in which there is thickness and dryness of the skin with itching, exfoliation, oozing and pain of affected areas.
Homeopathic medicine has excellent remedies to alleviate the dryness, itching, scaling and peeling off of the skin and gradually improve the texture with a period of medication.
Remedies like graphites, sulph, nat mur, sepia are helpful for this condition.
