My last period was kind of irregular, it
wasn't heavy at all and barely lasted 3
days (as did previous ones). Although
there was bleeding and had regular pmy
symptoms. I have been on ortho tri
cyclen lo for about 2 yrs., so I know
periods get lighter and shorter while on
the pill.
Im supposed to get my period next wk, and
this wk (like it usually happens), my
breast are swollen and sore, have lower
back pain, moody, depression, extra
anxiety, and feel tired and lethargic
(also due to the fact that I have recently
started taking xanax xr for anxiety).
This wk. Also I have a "fullness" in my
stomach, mostly my lower abdomen. I have
been having abdominal problems since last
april and have seen a gyno, reg. Doc.,
and urologist (said my urethra was very
tight, stretched it a little in aug., but
that didnt do much). I never really had
any infections (from Dr. Urine tests),
and just this past mon. Saw my urologist,
said no infection (from urine sample), but
wants me to see a gastronolgist because I
have been having bowel mvmt. Problems,
and get this ball of pain in the left side
of my abdomen, esp. W/caffein. I cant
drink coffee (reg.) any more, and I have
been eating a lot of chocolate (due to
halloween), so this might be causing the
pain to increase.
Questions: last time I had intercourse was
sept.6 (used spermicidal lubricated
condom), have fooled around since (i.E.
Dry humping, etc.) but fiance' didnt
ejaculate near vaginal area (maybe some
precum), but he has a rare condition of
pituitary/thyroid disease where his
endocrynologist is pretty sure he cant
have children w/out the help of meds., I
take my pills every day same time.
1. Can I get pregnant w/out actually
having sex? (esp. From what I said
above)
2. Had preg. Blood test done oct.21,
came back neg. But fooled around a few
days before that so im afraid I took it
too soon (oct.8, fooled around)
3. Is it common to urinate/feel like
urinating more frequently week b4
period?
4. My appetite isnt as big as it always
is the wk. Before my period, but I know
symptoms can vary month to month. Since
im taking xanax, a side effect is loss of
appetite, can that be the reason?
5. Any possibility that I could be
pregnant or is this just a combo of pms,
birth control pills, and xanax?
6. I was on antibiotics in oct. We
fooled around, but didnt have intercourse,
and ive been reading that they may
actually have no effect on bcp.

Okay, i'm gonna give this a shot.
1. No, I don't think you have a chance of
being pregnant. While precum does
contain sperm, i'm going to assume that by
dry humping you mean there were still
clothes on? If he ejaculated near your
vagina, on the outside, it is possible,
but I wouldn't stress, since he has a
problem.
2. What do you mean by fooled around??
It sounds as if you're not pregnant.
3. Needing to urinate frequently can be
caused by thousands of different things.
It could be because of the new medication,
a bladder, kidney, or urinary tract
infection, anything like that. Everyone
is different, so whether it's common or
not doesn't matter.
4.The xanax could very well be why you're
not as hungry. It could also have a lot
to do with your other problems.
6. It depends on which birth control
you're on, and which antibiotic it was.
Each pill or shot is different.
Tetracycline and things like that tend to
affect the pills more than some other
antibiotics.
Wait until next month. If you have a
period, you're not pregnant. If you
don't, take a test. Just stop stressing!!
Stress can screw up your body just like
pregnancy can. Take it easy and don't
worry.

Thanks. By fooling around I meant one of
us had our underwear on at one point.
There was never any (you know) full on
touching w/out underwear. (thats what we
did when dry humped too)
