Sometimes social services don't have any thing better to do. They were going to take my cousin's baby away from her. That's just crazy.

I wrote the story a long time ago so I think a lot of people dont remember.. But..

He's 18. He was 17 when he got me pregnant though. I told them I didnt know anything of him because I was afraid they'd put him in jail, and they still want more info on him.

Thats just a short story.

They said if they find out that I lied they'll take my child away and put me in jail.

But. Cali laws are different. So much strict than nj. In nj if you have parents consent, he wont go to jail. In cali, even if you do, he will still go to jail.

Damnit arnold.

I know what you mean about social services. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do to get rid of them. It really sucks. The government is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to over protective sometimes!!! Honestly, I think that social services just tries to find excuses to harass people! Ug. It'll be ok. *hugs*

Are you serious they are that strict. I can't believe it and you did apply for that on your own right with out adding his name. So now they are up in your business like that. I don't think it's like that over here.

I didn't add his name or anything! They just barged in and asked! I applied w/ my aunt since she's my legal gaurdian since i'm not 18 and I can't apply for myself.

They know im pregnant 'cuz I checked the pregnant box on the applicant when I was applying for cashaid/foodstamps. He's the one who did get me preggo, if you want i'll try to find the post and bump it up for you.

So this is like the second interview already.. The first one they asked his height ..Weight.. Just everything. I replied " I dont know" .

Hey sorry about your mom I did not know she was sick. I really pray she gets better. I know how it is when you get all worried about your mommy. My mom had to get her disk on her back a piece removed because it was affecting her nerves going down her leg. She is okay but her leg still goes numb sometimes. I get worried for her. Keep praying and have faith. I'll light a candle for her when I go to church sunday. I won't forget.

I just don't understand why they would investigate him when you are not like applying for child support or something. You are just getting benefits for you and the baby. And it's not like your filing anything against him

They want him so they can take money out of his taxes for you getting help from the state for you and your baby. They are .G.R.E.E.D.Y mofos.

Oh yea, the reason why I cancled my badger care (health insurance that I got through the state) is because all they did was make me pay what the hopsital would have made the state pay, and then without interest.... Which is bull... My mom has health insurance on me and brooklyn, and they would have taken a big chunk of money out of kevins taxes... Also, since me and kevin are getting foodstamps, we are being referred to child support, even though we live together, and they know we live together, and they know I dont want child support. I think that once you start getting help from the state, all they want to do is bug the hell out of you, and I think that even though they are helping you out, they are finding a way to get your money.

Oh my gosh I can't believe all this i'm hearing.

It's that bad huh? I don't understand what's up with that why they are making it so hard to get help.

Maybe they just try to make it hard so you don't have to get the help.

Im sorry that youre going through all this. Im not on foodstamps, but I get wic and theyve never once asked me the father's name, so you should still get wic...Its not lots of stuff, but it definitely helps out a lot on the grocery bill. You can get cereal, juice, milk, cheese, peanut butter and eggs. Maybe more I cant remember. But all they care about is keeping the baby healthy, I dont think they even care who the father is.
