I just want to ask what is this thing that
is like a warts in the edge of the head of
my penis. It's like a cauli flower...
Something like that... Is it an std?
Can't describe it... Maybe I can take
some pictures and you guys examine it and
give me some advice and is it curable?

Dear aymseek,
it sounds as though you may have genital
warts, you will need to make an
appointment with your doctor to be
treated. It is a sexually transmitted
disease, therefore you have most likely
had intercourse with an infected person
recently. In future to prevent things
like this happening, you really need to
use protection such as a condom, as
genital warts are not the only std you can
catch.

But you know this warts is I think is with
me since i'm in my early teenage years
(probably when I was 17yo) and I dont even
try to go to any doctors! Is there any
medicine (cream or oral tablets)?

Dear aymseek,
if you were to ask a medical professional
such as your doctor about the problem,
he/she would tell you that you have
genital warts. Genital warts in males are
described as having a cauliflower
appearance, which is exactly what you
described in your previous post. If you
have had this problem since you were 17,
you had intercourse with an infected
person at that time, and it has been with
you ever since, it definately will never
go away by itself, only with medical
treatment. Please remember, anyone you
have a sexual relationship with, you will
be passing the warts onto them aswell.
Although it is a little harder to diagnose
in women, as the warts usually grow inside
on the wall of the vagina.

think I got it with men (somebody whom I
have an orals sex with)
i think I should see a doctor now... What
kind of doctor? Is it curable? Because
i'm afraid my girlfriend will dump me if
she will see it...

yes genital warts are curable, but it is
going to take ongoing and committed
treatment for some time. You can see any
general practioner for this problem,
alternatively you can go to an std clinic
which specialises in this. Good
