I have seen several doctors and I am going from disapointment to disapointement. No doctor seems to identify what I have.
I am 62, retired, male.
The best way to describe my problem is as follows: if I was a woman, I would not be able to fasten my brassiere in my back. Muscle pain in my right shoulder that goes down to the elbow, prevents me to move my arm high enough.
Sometimes, when I use my arm to stand up from an easy chair or a sofa, I have a paralysing pain. Also, in bed, I am awakened by pain when I roll on my right side.
I have seen a bone doctor. He told me I had a pinched nerf in my neck and recommended tractions. No improvements. I went to see a neurologiste for a second opinion, he said that my neck was ok, a pinched nerf would be much more painful.
A friend of a friend told me he had the same type of problems and what diagnosed with pott's desease.
According to the internet, pott's desease affects the lower back and I found no mention of shoulder and arm pain.
Any suggestions?
