Q: How Do I Know When Im Due
asked by: JohnsWifey on November 8th, 2004

I had my last period on october 7th. (first day) I m guessing my ovulation time would be right around october 21 or somewhere close to that. Me and my boyfriend have sex a lot. I was supposed to get my period on november 4th and it never came. I've had all the signs of pregnancy but I didnt know what would be too soon to test...Well finally today (november 8th) I went and bought a first response pregnancy test. It came with two tests in it. I took one and it came back with two lines (positive). Im going to take another one in the morning with my forst morning urine to see wat I get. But if I am pregnant for sure, how can I determine when my due date is. I have heard lots of stories on how to do it but I dont know what to believe so if anyone knows feel free to give me some advice...Thanx

The way the dr usually do it is to add 7 days from the date or your last period, then either 9 mon from then or you can go back 3 mon

Yeah because it can also depend on how many days are in your cycle, and remember, your due date is always an estimation unless you are in vetro or whatever, that is why they say you could have the baby as early as 2 wks prios and it will be fine or two wks later and that is normal too
what was the date of your last period if you don't mind my asking

The first dat of my last period was october 7th so july 14th sounds about right. But I really do appreciate all the advice you guys have been giving me. Im going to be a first time mom and I didnt realize how scary it was going to be when I actually did get pregnant. Im very happy its just that im still in shock that I have another persons life inside of me.

They go by the last day of your last period not the day it began, so how long did your period la?St so depending on 5-7 day cycles, it could eb a little off, and depending on how many days you go between, most are 28 but I am 34 days in between
