I have been dealing with this problem for at least 5 years now. It started small and then it hass been spreading to my elbows, 1 knee and the other leg by mid calf. I have tried from prescription creams given to me by my dermatologist to drinking noni juice sugested by a friend. It goes and comes as it pleases. Please give me any ideas, i'm totally open to try anything.

I don't know if this will help you but.... My husband uses the neutrogena t-gel with 1% coal tar. He has found that it works as well, if not better than the prescription shampoo his used to get.

He even washes his face with it.... The shampoo says to use it a couple times a week I think. My husband uses it 5 times a week for it to be effective for him.

I Had Something Similar
For a period of about 3 years I had what doctors said was psoriasis. He prescribed a cream that worked really well as far as moisturizing the skin and stopping the cracking and bleeding. This skin disorder that I had started as a little patch on my wrist, just below the hand. As a scratched it, it spread till it totally engulfed my entire right hand mostly, except a couple fingers. I was ashamed to even show my hands. I did not make the connection at the time, but the skin disorder really did not occur until I began working a fast food restaurant that required allot of hand washing and wearing of latex rubber gloves. I don't know if it was the soap or the latex, but since I stopped working there, it has all cleared up completely. I used to give credit to the doctors cream...Mainly because it was soothing, but now I know it was some sort of allergic reaction to either latex or the powder in the latex gloves, or the soap used in the restaurant. Again, I worked at the fast food place for about 3 years, and during that time is when the problem began and since I quit...Problem gone. It have been over 4 years now and no further out breaks.

Psoriasis and Candida Albicans
My husband has been suffering from psoriasis for over 35 years. Recently, we discovered that there is link between psoriasis and bacterial overgrowth, specifically candida albicans. To determine if this may be your case, you may want to consider some reading material that we recently bought and read. 1. Candida: The Silent Epidemic 2. The Yeast Connection.
My husband will be seeing an integrative medicine doctor that has confirmed that psoriasis and yeast overgrowth is linked.
Another bit of information that may be of interest to you would be The Marshall Protocol.
At this point, this is where we are in our search.

I wish you the absolute best in your search endeavors. We have been through a painstaking process and no how frustrating it is.
